The biggest and best spent bang for your buck is a good disc lock. We offer disc locks to our customers for $6.00 upon move-in. We are in the storage business not the lock business. This type lock retails for $16 -$22.00. The first step to good security is a disc lock.
At B&L RV & Mini Storage we do daily lock checks. When you move in we place a sticker on your lock (that way we know its your lock). We've heard of instances where a thief would cut off your lock and replace it with his own. We combat this with the stickers and daily lock checks.
